My Tarot Decks Bucket List (July 2020)

Updated: Aug 31, 2021

I have been travelling a lot lately – not through the pandemic! – but over the last few years and in general. As a result, I was not buying a lot of things and have not even bought a new deck in several months. But my Tarot Decks Bucket List has been growing!

And as I type those words I realize it is time for me to treat myself.

Before I do so, I wanted to share some decks currently on my bucket list with you friends and maybe hear your thoughts on these decks or know which ones are on YOUR list :)

Tarot of the Cloisters

I love stained glass art. Absolutely adore it. While I am not a fan of churches, as I child I was always amazed whenever I would see one in France with beautiful stained glass windows. I always felt inspired by the way the light would hit them and reflect all the colours of the rainbow. And they were telling stories too.

What’s not to love about that?

Nowadays a lot of small business on Etsy and Instagram offer small stained glass art and I am sure to follow many.

All that’s missing in my collection? A stained glass inspired Tarot deck! And here it is. Also…round cards! This deck is definitely high on my list.

Mystic Mondays Tarot

I stumbled upon this deck by chance without knowing what I was looking for. I immediately loved the bright colors and modern 80’s inspired vibe.

I soon after discovered the work of the artist, Grace Duong, and everything she has had going on for a while. How did I miss it?

Anyway! I’m finally catching up.

Update – I just ordered this deck! Keep an eye out for a full review soon!

Antique Anatomy Tarot

This deck has been on my list for a minute. I absolutely love the artwork even though I only saw pictures so far. I know a lot of people have complained about the card stock quality and how thin the cards are. I would be willing to take a chance and use this deck for meditation and rituals rather than for clients’ readings.

I still am very much intrigued by the work of the artist and will eventually get this deck.

Starseed Oracle

Okay not a Tarot deck per say but who am I kidding? We love all cards! Especially gorgeous and inspiring oracles with beautiful colours and powerful messages.

Another deck high on my list I can’t wait to use for rituals and outdoors meditations.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot

When I saw this on my phone while mindlessly scrolling (nobody’s perfect…) I almost choked. Why did I not know about this deck and why was I not reading it right this minute?

…because it has not been released yet.

Available for pre-orders, this very promising deck will be out in September 2020. Well I was already planning my Halloween costume in my mind earlier this week, I guess it’s a mood!

The Muse Tarot

Here is another gorgeous deck that screams “graphic designer on fire” – and I love it. The Muse Tarot Deck completely reinvents the minor arcana replacing our Cups, Pentacles, Wands and Swords with Voices, Materials, Inspiration and Emotions.

Discover the beautiful visual work done by the artist, Chris-Anne, by visiting her website here.

Other decks on my list include the Tattoo Tarot Deck, the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck, the Star Spinner Tarot and many more!

So what will it be? I’m sure I’ll have an update for you real soon. Whichever deck I buy next, I’ll be sure to review it right here and share my experience with you.

Let me know what you think of the decks listed above. To be honest my full bucket list is way longer but those are currently on my mind!
