Manifesting Through the dark: Yes, It’s Possible
We often associate manifestation with high vibes, vision boards, and positive affirmations. And while those tools can be powerful, they don’t tell the whole story—especially when you’re going through something heavy. What happens when you're feeling lost, numb, or stuck in the fog of depression? Does that mean your dreams are on pause or canceled? Absolutely not.
Let me say this clearly: you can manifest even in your darkest seasons.
In fact, some of the most powerful shifts in my life happened not when everything was perfect, but when everything was (seemingly) falling apart. Those raw, unfiltered moments of grief, doubt, and depression turned out to be portals.
I want to remind you today that just because you're struggling doesn't mean you've lost your power.
Listen to this full session below, recorded through the hard Winter of 2024/2025 where I felt led to share some deeply personal feelings and incredibly powerful tips. This episode is also available on the podcast Good Fortune for All.
Feeling Your Feelings Doesn't Block Your Manifestations
We need to drop the myth that being sad, angry, overwhelmed, or heartbroken somehow ruins our ability to attract what we desire. Emotions are not obstacles, they’re energy in motion. When you suppress or shame your emotions, that’s what creates blocks. But when you allow yourself to fully feel them, to sit with them, to honor them, you create space for alchemy.
You are not less magnetic when you’re crying on the bathroom floor. You are not off-track because you’re having a low day, or week, or month. You are human. And you’re still a creator.
Now, it is true that your vibe is your key. But feeling the darker feelings is how we release them. The magic lies in knowing that the low vibes won't last and reminding yourself that you're still blessed through it all. This is how I have overcome every shitty moment of my life and emerged, every single time, a better version of me.
There Is No Shame in Going Through a Hard Time
We live in a world obsessed with constant growth and positivity, especially online. But healing, grieving, and simply existing are not things to be ashamed of. You don't have to pretend you're okay to be worthy of success, abundance, or love. You don’t need to slap a smile on your face and “raise your vibe” when you’re breaking inside.
There’s no spiritual bypassing in my world. You can say, “This hurts,” and still believe in your future. You can hold grief in one hand and desire in the other.
Here again, this will help you stay authentic while slowly but surely choosing to heal.
Even in Depression, You Can Emerge Victorious
Depression is real but it lies to you. It tells you you're stuck. That your light is out. That you've failed. But the truth is, even when you feel like you're not moving forward, deep internal work can still be happening. Seeds are being planted in the dark. After all, that's where all seeds start their journey before they come to the light.
You may not see the shift yet, but the fact that you’re still here, still reading this, still dreaming on some level is already a victory. You are already rising. Slowly, quietly, perhaps even painfully... but rising nonetheless.
You don’t need to wait until you “feel better” to begin again. Manifestation isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment and sometimes, alignment is only possible when first surrendering to what is, no matter how crappy this may be.
Remember: radical acceptance is the fastest way to change.
Here's How to Move Forward with Intention and Love
If you're down or even depressed, start by honoring where you are. Not where you should be. Not where you used to be. Just… here. Can you feel that?
Feel what needs to be felt. Be shameless about it. Let it move through you. Then, when you're ready, set your next intention not from pressure, but from love.
Even one breath of hope is enough.
Even one whispered affirmation is enough.
Even one small act of care for yourself is enough.
I created this post - and the accompanying podcast episode below - to hold space for the real, messy, beautiful process of manifesting as a human. Because I’ve been there, and I know how heavy it can get. But I also know that relief is just around the corner... and so is your next big victory.
You’re ALWAYS more powerful than you think.
With love,
Lou✨
