IF TAROT CARDS COULD TALK: CHOICES
If Tarot Cards could talk about choices and their consequences, they’d probably send these 3 to be their spokespersons: The Lovers, Justice and Judgement. In that order too.
These 3 cards share a lot of important traits. They are abstract and mostly represent a concept rather than a character, unlike the Fool, the Magician or the Devil. Although we could argue that all Tarot cards stand for much more than one character – absolutely true! – these 3 clearly fall into the more abstract category of cards.
More importantly, they share a love for noble choices and moderation. They reward the benevolent, the dignified and the hardworking. Down to earth and high minded at the same time, they call for balance and warn us about the consequences of our choices and actions.
The Lovers is a positive card, which always comes with a strong message of guidance: make choices that will help pay off in the long run and not ones that are easy for you now.
This card is all about taking the high road and doing what is best for everyone involved, starting with ourselves.
The original Lovers card depicts Hercules choosing between vice and virtue, earthly pleasure and spiritual enlightenment. The easy choice is obvious. But it won’t lead anywhere warns the Lovers who call for your will power to take over a dilemma.
Time to hit the high road.

Justice in Tarot is the ultimate referee. There is no arguing with her decisions for they are based on objective facts and observations.
A mainly positive card on its own, Justice doesn’t play favorite and does not necessarily imply that you will get what you want but rather what you deserve.
If you find yourself hesitating between important options for your life, Justice invites you to carefully weigh the pros and cons in the most neutral and objective manner. And to do it now. While Justice still gives you a choice, other cards may follow a few months later if you don’t take charge. Cards like the Tower or the Hanged Man. Or Judgement.
If you’re in a conflict, legally or personally, a resolution is about to be found or a verdict will be given soon.

Judgement is one of the most mysterious card in the deck. But in a different way than the Moon, with its divine darkness. Reading this card is a serious challenge for many beginners and sometimes intermediate readers too.
Judgement is of course the card of news and communication. But it also speaks of strikes of genius and inspiration.
What Judgement needs to say exactly will always depend on the entire session you find yourself in. But what it always essentially bring to the table is a warning or announcement of the consequences of your actions.
The content of the news you’ll get will be the direct consequence of past choices or actions. The strike of genius will not literally fall from the sky: it’ll be the result of hard work or training, observation or receptivity.
